Syllabus / Curriculum


All classes do essentially English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social studies, and Sciences. The medium of instruction is English.

Apart from this the subjects and activities are structured to suit the needs and ages of the different groups and classes. Special attention is given to the learning of English. The method adopted here is again a playful one. The children act out situations or actually “Play with the language”.

Other activities that the children do are perceptual, creative, constructional, and artistic in nature. In the course of this, they use different materials like puzzles, matching cards, pastel material and leather scraps, etc. Singing, games, painting, computers, yoga, and dance are regular activities that constitute the curriculum.

English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Foreign languages (French, German, Spanish), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers (Compulsory from CL V to VIII), History/Civics, Geography, Economics, Accounts/Commerce, Art/Craft/Drawing, Dramatics/Elocution, Music/Singing, Sports/Games/Mass PT/PE/Chess, Yoga/Brain Gym, Dance/Action songs, Socially Useful and Productive Work/ Affirmation.

Academic Year


The academic year commences on the 1st of April and ends on the 31st of March. Each academic year is divided into 3 terms roughly of the following duration.

Term I – 1st April to Mid May

Term II – 1st July to Mid Dec

Term III – Mid Jan to 31st March
